Incarcerated 30 yrs for Marijuana

Harden is charged by indictment with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 1000 kilograms or more of marijuana in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846. The conspiracy is alleged to span the period from June 2006 until June 2011. If Harden is convicted of this offense, he could be imprisoned from 10 years to life, fined up to $10,000,000, and placed on supervised release for at least 5 years. Having found that there is probable cause to believe that Harden has committed an offense for which the maximum sentence is life imprisonment and a penalty of 10 years or more is prescribed in the Controlled Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. § 801 et seq., a rebuttable presumption exists that he is a flight risk and a danger to the community. See 18 U.S.C. § 3142(e). Kevin was sentenced to 30 years for marijuana.

My daughter's father Kevin Harden black Male was sentenced to 30 years for marijuana with no possibility for parole. He has currently served 9 years of the sentence so far. There was no weapons, no victims, or violence attached to his charge. Only a charge of marijuana at the Federal level. He is also in poor health due to a Aortic Aneurysm he had. He survived and has had 4 surgeries since then with 3 done while incarcerated. The prison system does not have the specialists he needs to survive much longer.

The government has gave him an extremely harsh sentence for something that is being legalized everywhere. Kevin has gotten more time than a pedophile, rapist, and even a murderer. My children need their father. With his condition we dont know how much longer he has without proper treatment.

Kevin Harden has served his time. 30 years for marijuana. Seriously?? Please help bring him home!!! This is racism without hesitation. Guilty for being black in America! Help us so our kids can have their father home and not be just another statistic. Thank you. I will be sending this to The White House. To the Dept of Justice. To every person who can hear the injustice in this charge. Fight for our Fathers
